High-Performance Coastal Home

last

High-performance building practices are integral to this design and build project. Timber frame elements are used in conjunction with the SIP panels.

The walls and roof have all been assembled using SIP panels that connect by tongue and groove. The walls are insulated with 6.5 inches of foam and the roof with 12.5 inches of foam.

Outside the home, a standing seam aluminum metal roof, stainless steel cable rails and mahogany bead board provide aesthetic and functional appeal.

In the kitchen, wood beams and many ocean viewpoints create a sense of tranquility while custom cabinetry maximizes the space.
